From Shea and the 101:

Take Shea East to the 87.  Left (North) on 87.  At Bush Highway turn right (East).  Bush Highway will soon become a North/South route.  Follow Bush Highway  to the stop sign (south of the Saguaro Lake, Water Users' cliffs, Bulldog Canyon).

At the stop sign, Usury Pass is to the west and Goldfield Recreation area is about 1.3 miles to the west.  Turn west (right) at the intersection.  The name changes to Blue Point Rd.  Proceed to the parking lot.

Turn left and proceed about 6-7 miles.  Turn right at the Apache Wash Trailhead sign (hard to miss).  There is a big parking lot, a ramada and restrooms.
